Six copies of their game and ten extra sets of instructions must arrive by April 12, 2004.<br> <br> <br> <b>I entered my game last year, can I enter it again this year?</b><br> Unless there have been substantial changes to the game, the answer is no. The Chief Judge makes the final decision as to whether a game that has been entered before is eligible.<br> <br> <br> <b>My game debuted at last year's Toy Fair - is it eligible?</b><br> Yes! For Mind Games 2004, any game that meets our requirements and has entered the U.S. market since February 1, 2003 is eligible.<br> <br> <br>--><font face='arial,verdana,helvetica' size='2' color='#000000'> <b>How many games may I enter?</b><br> You may enter as many games as are eligible.<br> <br> <br> <b>Why do you need six copies of my game?</b><br> We have more than 150 people playing over 50 games in a three-day period. Because of these time constraints, we need to have at least six copies circulating to ensure that all of the judges have a chance to play the games. It is not uncommon for all of the games to be in play at the same time.<br> <br> <br> <b>What are the judging criteria?</b><br> Judges will rate the games on originality (structure, concept, creativity), game play (enjoyment, excitement, challenge), play value (repeatability, longevity, price), aesthetics (look, feel, style) and instructions (brevity, clarity, completeness). <br> <br> <br> <b>What does the Mensa Select® seal mean?</b><br> The Mensa Select® seal signifies that a game has been chosen as one of the top five new games in a given year by members of Mensa.<br> <br> <br> <b>What is Mensa?</b><br> Mensa is an organization for anyone who scores in the top 2 percent on an accepted, standardized intelligence test. The organization has more than 52,000 members in the United States. More information may be found at <a href="http://us.mensa.org" target="_blank">www.us.mensa.org</a>.<br> <br> <br> <b>Why don't you accept prototypes?</b><br> We want consumers to be able to purchase Mind Games winners as soon as they are announced. Further, judges rate games on several items, including aesthetics; you will want to enter your game in its final form to optimize your score in that category.</font><br> <br></td></tr></table>
